I love to play at weddings and am happy to attend the rehearsal for no additional charge if it is in the Lubbock area and I am available. You may also stop by my house for one free consultation before or after booking me if you have questions or would like to hear me play a few pieces. If you have specific requests, let me know beforehand so I can be prepared.
Each wedding is unique, so pick the music you want. Here are some possible places for music in your ceremony:
- Prelude: I usually play 20-30 minutes of prelude music.
- Mothers/Grandmothers entrance
- Wedding party entrance
- Bride’s entrance
- Unity Candle or Memorial Candle
- Communion
- Recessional
You do not have to have a different piece of music for each of these spots, for example, you can have one piece for both the mothers and the bridesmaids.
Any live music adds a lot to a wedding, but harp music makes your special day even more special. I can accommodate most requests with four weeks of notice, but keep in mind that it may sound different on the harp than on another instrument.
